Community Guidelines

Introduction

When players join our community, they assume the title of “Zero”. A Zero agrees to Fair Play, Unifying Efforts, and operating with Purpose and Integrity. These values are not limited to Teardrop Island; they resonate throughout our entire community. Zeros commit to these principles, complementing our Terms of Service, the rules of our social communities, and our event guidelines.

Off The Grid’s Code of Conduct / Zero’s Code

·        Zeroed in on Fair Play

Zeroes commit to fairness and ethical conduct while deployed, upholding a level playing field for all participants, regardless of skill level or experience. Do not position an unfair advantage or make ease with exploits.

·        Unified Efforts on Teardrop Island

On Teardrop Island, success hinges on teamwork and collaboration. If you’re not going lone wolf, support your team and make an effort to succeed as a squad. Adapt to your teammates’ diversity, recognizing their unique playstyles, weapon preferences, and cyberlimb combinations.

·        Operate with Purpose and Integrity

All participants should conduct themselves with clear intentions. Respect other participants in-game and on Off The Grid’s recognized social platforms by refraining from harassment, discrimination, or harmful behavior.

The Breakdown

Hold fast to the following rules as you navigate Teardrop Island. If you find yourself slipping away, you may find yourself permanently cut from the grid.

Behavior

Compete with integrity or get off the island. Disrupting the game’s flow for selfish reasons or looking to get an edge on another Zero will not earn you respect.

·        Foul team actions, including griefing or throwing, and self-sabotage, may result in penalization.

·        Refrain from alternative account creation for smurfing or boosting as it disrupts fair matchmaking.

Communication

Keep the chaos in Teardrop Island, Zero. Keep the comms clean, chat for fair play, and let your skills do the trash-talking.

·        Forms of harassment, hate speech, discriminatory language, threats, and slurs are strictly prohibited.

·        Inappropriate topics beyond the game’s subject matter are not allowed.

·        Find yourself swearing in text communications or voice comms may result in chatting restrictions.

Profile

Inappropriate takes are for Cobra’s Corner. Tune your identity to be presentable.

·        Ensure your usernames and in-game names are appropriate and inoffensive.

·        Do not engage in account sharing, scamming, win trading, or trading/selling accounts. All OTG account transactions with third-party sellers are unsafe and unauthorized by Gunzilla.

·        Do not impersonate Gunzilla staff, players, or other individuals within the game or on our social platforms.

Gunzilla staff will never message you in-game and ask for personal details for any reason. All our communications will come from verified staff accounts or support agents via our support portal and official social platforms.

Beyond the game’s systems

Nobody likes a cheater. Progression should come cleanly, so stick to the intended arsenal every Zero has.

·        Cheating of any kind is strictly prohibited. Do not exploit, including glitches or vulnerabilities within the game. Refrain from abusing bugs to gain an unfair advantage.

·        Use of unauthorized third-party programs or hardware devices to gain an unfair advantage are prohibited.

·        Do not attempt to modify game servers, client software, or game data.

Getting Personal

Leave the action in Teardrop Island; you have a job to do. Focus on the task at hand, safeguard your abilities, and avoid getting entangled in the mess.

·        Do not disclose personal information under any circumstances.

·        Refrain from engaging in out-of-game harm, including doxing, bullying, stalking, or any other method considered a harmful action.

·        Do not encourage or ask others to violate the code of conduct.

Cleaning up Teardrop Island

Caution another Zero if their behavior does not follow our community code in-game or on your preferred platform. Whereas, if a Zero is crossing the line, use proper tools for a steadfast resolution, including the in-game mute and block features, report a player feature, player support, or via moderators.

Breaking the code

Every Zero agrees to the code before jumping in. Break the code and you may pay the price.

Such penalizations include:

·        Removal of flagged content.

·        Account suspension or permanent loss of access to Gunzilla Games’ products and platforms.

·        Denied access to special events including in-game or community-based events.

Violations may be escalated to local law officials for further action.

Be Vigilant, Zero

Our code isn’t rigid. While it’s written with consideration for every Zero, we may need to change the code as we learn more about the community. Stay up to date with our evolving values, and continually voice your disapproval of another Zero's actions using our safety and support tools. Don’t catch strays or act out of line, the code is here to level the playing field and ensure enjoyable competition throughout the community.
